Aiming at the disadvantage of slow speed in solving distribution network optimization problems by traditional methods, a Tab u search algorithm with fast search capability is introduced. In order to make the planning results more intuitive, the Geographic Informa tion System (GIS) platform was introduced. The optimization model considers the time value of line investment, aims at minimizing the annual cost considering investment and loss costs, takes the line transmission capacity and radiation of the distribution network as the constraints, takes the spanning tree of the alternative network as the initial solution, and uses the Tabu search algorithm to optimize it. The example results show that the proposed method has certain feasibility and effectiveness.
