Based on praetical projeet, the ABAQUS numerieal analysis model is established. After the compa-ring study on numerieal analysis results and the field monitoring ones, the model and corresponding parametersare verified. Then, virtual designs are carried out, with different heights of soil nail wall, pre-stress forees olanchorage, and stiflness of pile. The adequate height of soil nail wall is no more than 6 m. lt shows that thepre-stress foree of anchorage has litle elleet on deformation control. On the contrary, the stillness of pile is vi.tal for delormalion conlrol in this style of soil retaining struelure.
